Get creative this Easter with Hobbycraft

February 22, 2017

I absolutely love Hobbycraft. I'm like a kid in a sweet shop whenever we visit.

I spend ages in the shop looking at all the lovely crafty things available. My husband Mark usually lets me get on with it as I'm in there for at least a couple of hours.

Easter is fast approaching, and I can't wait for spring to arrive.

There's something warm and cosy about a handmade gift. Knowing that someone has spent time and effort makes it that bit more special.

This year Hobbycraft have got all you need to create some wonderful things this Easter.

Make it, don't buy it this year. Go on, give it a go, let your inner creativity out.

If you are doing an Easter egg hunt with the kids, why not make your own. The Easter Wooden Signs (£2 for 3) will point the kids in the right direction. The Bunny Print Hessian Baskets are only £1, a cute way to stash your eggs.

And if you want to mix it up a bit, they have a great range of fillable plastic, ceramic and polystyrene eggs from £1.50.

You can't have Easter without chocolate, why not make your own eggs. Chocolate Egg Moulds start from £1 or you can buy a piping bag and icing, and decorate a shop bought egg. Just try not to eat it though!

Look at these beautiful wreaths. I would never have thought about having a wreath at Easter until I saw these. Hobbycraft have wreaths in all different shapes and sizes including rattan bunnies and grass covered hearts plus more traditional circles. Be as create as you like with ribbons, handmade pom, poms and embellishments.

Who doesn't love making an Easter bonnet. They usually have the kids wearing them at school, and in the past there have been some fantastically creative parents out there. You can really go to town on the bonnets, let the kids imaginations take over. Plain bonnets cost from £2, and embellishments, ribbons and decorations cost from £1.

I'd love to see some on your creative Easter Crafts. Leave a comment below with your favourite ideas.
