It's that time of year again when it's dad's time to step up and create and amazing orange spherical masterpiece that is the Halloween pumpkin!
I've been doing it for my 9 year old daughter, Amber, for years now and this year I finally let her have a go at carving one herself.
Ta'da! The finished pumpkins!
I gouged the sloppy membrane and pips out whilst Amber came up with a design and my 2 year old son, Jacob, looks on perplexed but amused.
I then got Amber to draw what she wanted the little face to look like and traced it onto the pumpkin.
After a few fatal stabbing blows from my daughter to the poor pumpkins face, dad came to the rescue and took over to put the orange fella out of his misery.
What has happened to the children? They've been replaced with 2 little monsters!
